Case Study – Mohinani Group

“The business started operating in 1966 in Ghana with the second generation joining the business in the early 1980’s. The Company continued to run as a family business with discussions and decisions often talking place informally around the dinner table. We set up our first advisory board in the form of an Exco committee in the early 2000’s which included family and non-family executives. In 2010 we appointed our first non-executive director and as the business continued to grow, we required more input from external stakeholders who were both familiar with our business and also good governance. It was at this point that we started looking to Sirdar for guidance.”
