perspectives

It is in the shareholders’ interests
to appropriately remunerate non-executive directors to attract and retain the best directors.

We are pleased to see a trend that indicates companies recognising the value that independent directors add to a board.

Diversity remains a critical topic on the boardroom agenda. Our survey considers only age, race and gender in the boardroom.

We explore the African boardroom in terms of size and board composition, board meetings and frequency of board evaluations.
